Advancing Food Security
Our mission
At ICL, we strive to promote food security and make a positive impact within the communities in which we operate. We utilize our resources, products, and expertise to help and support the world’s fight against hunger and help achieve food security.
How we do it

How we do it
ICL is dedicated to improving food security through a broad array of AgTech solutions, fertilizers, alternative proteins, and other innovative products that enable food to maintain a longer shelf life, reduce food waste and improve food quality and yield.
In addition, we work with farmers in developing countries through agricultural tutoring, where we help them develop the knowledge needed to engage in modern sustainable agriculture, including plant nutrition and proper fertilization. This enables farmers to use the land they have more effectively, increase their yields, and reduce their environmental footprint. We are active in India, Kenya, Tanzania, and other developing countries.
In order to provide food security within our communities, we are promoting and improving sustainable agriculture, supporting local farmers and food banks, expanding the use of community gardens and urban agriculture, and organizing food donations.
Our community gardens are a great source of local fruits, vegetables, and herbs, and are a hub for community activity and connections. The gardens are environmentally friendly, and their use reduces the need for transportation of goods.

ICL’s Mission: Tanzania
